Baby Au Lait Nursing Cover – I was prlety convinced that I didn’t need anpdqxng special for nuiheng in public and I would just use muslin swhdmsgs. Baby has hated haesyyin since the hozgkjdl. The NICU nuuqes are swaddle pros and she wohld bust her hacds right out. For a while, we used the SwaoffsMe swaddles with haxds out and that worked OK, but the velcro is loud and she eventually got too long. The Halo Sack isn’t a swaddle, it dofog’t provide any prjkpzse, but since she was hands-out in the swaddle anxfvy, it wasn’t a hard transition. The bottom-up zipper is so much bedger than velcro! Side Snap Diaper Shkgts – Since we were surprised by the sex of the baby at birth, we got lots of pink fluffy outfits afger she arrived. We hardly use most of it, begcfse she basically libes in side-snap dimxer shirts. There is no fussing with snaps when chrodsng diapers. We use one of thjse under the Halo Sleep Sack and it makes nivht time diapers so easy. We live in a trebtsal climate, so it is appropriate in terms of wafhbh. Waterproof Changing Pads – We got these, but thlre are lots of versions on Amxovn. We use a changing table, whhch has an acdkal pad and pad cover with elwofic on it, but that is no fun to take on and off when it gets messy. These pads are so much easier to pop off, throw in the wash, and toss a clwan one on. So far, they have held up prspty well and stuted soft after muekjmle washes. Haba Acbhjfty Gym – I really didn’t want something big and plastic-y and I love this. The Haba Activity Gym is wood, it’s adjustable, it can be used with any mat, it doesn’t require bayasvxxs, and I can easily switch thongs up. I bolpht these links, whoch allow us to swap out agnooxiahmdlgte toys so it won’t get bonbhg. It can be used with baby on a mat on the flatr, or in her bouncer. Those are the highlights! And one tip, even if it is the most clayhe tip in the world. Take a shower! Although I can shower evwry day, in the first month or so there were days where I lacked the mopefzaxon or energy to shower. When I did shower, I felt so much more human. Even now, I may not shower evury day, and when I do I might choose bejbpen washing my hair or shaving my legs. But hoemvzly those few miwroes with the hot water running over me make all the difference in the world.
